History of the chalet
The chalet Clermont-Tonnerre, a listed historical monument, is located in the heart of VICHY, a spa town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Chalet Clermont-Tonnerre is the 1st of the five chalets of Emperor Napoleon III and his suite in the heart of the parks of Vichy, on the banks of the Allier.
Called "Clermont-Tonnerre", the chalet was built in 1863 for Count Aynard de Clermont-Tonnerre (1827-1884), an officer of order of His Majesty, It is erected at the same time as the neighboring chalet "Villa Marie-Louise" housing of Emperor Napoleon III.
In the following years, three other chalets were built on "Boulevard Napoléon" (currently Boulevard des Etats-Unis).
The most illustrious guest of the chalet was Leopold (1790-1865), first King of the Belgians. He came in the summer of 1865 to meet Napoleon III.
A Gothic-inspired outbuilding was added to the property in 1905.
Only four owners have succeeded each other in 150 years, which explains its authenticity and the excellent level of conservation of floors and ceilings.

Luxury service: the chalet is composed of 3 living rooms (including a fully equipped room for seminars), 2 kitchens, 10 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, all combined with chic and prestigious decoration and furniture (wooden floors, marble, stained glass, gilding ...).You will find in the basement a large relaxation and leisure area including a billiard room, a fitness room, a Hammam, a sauna and a cinema room.
You can enjoy an exterior with landscaped garden and heated swimming pool.
Private pavilion: independent building comprising living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.
Private car park with 2 electric charging stations (Tesla + universal).

We welcome you for receptions, seminars, conferences, events, weddings, and prestigious rentals.
Accommodation Chalet (capacity 20 people max):
- 1st floor / 4 bedrooms: from €1,050* per night (November to March) and 1400€* per night (April to October)
- 2nd floor / 6 bedrooms: from €1,200* per night (November to March) and €1,600* per night (April to October)
- Entire Chalet / 10 bedrooms: from €1,500* per night (November to March) and €2,000* per night (April to October)
*Minimum 2 nights - Arrival time from 4 p.m. - Departure time until 10 a.m. - Tourist tax of 4€/person/night in addition

Seminars and conferences:
- Equipped private room (wifi, video projector, paperboards, adjacent kitchenette), ground floor and garden access
- Capacity of 40 people in conference or 19 people with tables
- From €1,100 per day (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and €500 for half a day (9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
- Additional hour: 100 €
Privatization of the basement (up to 20 people):
- 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.: €1,100 • 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.: €500 • Additional hour: €100

Chalet Clermont-Tonnerre Pavilion
In 1905, a neo-Gothic pavilion was added to the Chalet Clermont-Tonnerre for Doctor Henri de Labaudie.
The independent building includes a living room with sofa bed, a kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom upstairs.
